We started our first ride the summer of 2009 in honor of our daughter, Samantha. Samantha had a mitochondrial disease which meant many days in Children's Hospital Colorado. We wanted to give back to the hospital that had given so much to us. So we rode in the Courage Classic, a fundraising ride through the mountains of Colorado that benefits Children's Hospital Colorado.
The next year we lost our girl to her disease.
And now we ride in memory of her. And we raise money to help other kiddos who suffer from this disease.
